We're a husband-and-wife team, and between us we bring over 10 years of accounting experience. Bookkeeping Domain is the business we built around the part of that work we like most: keeping a small business's books clean, every month, and being easy to reach when the owner has a question.

We started it because we kept meeting the same owner. Good at what they do, busy, and quietly stressed about the books. Some were months behind. Some paid for QuickBooks and didn't trust a number in it. Most just wanted someone reliable to take it off their plate for a price they knew in advance.

How we work

• The two of us, not a call centre. You'll know who's doing your books, and you'll hear back from one of us.
• Remotely. No office visits and no boxes of paper. You invite us into your bookkeeping software, and everything happens there.
• In your software. You keep QuickBooks or whatever you use today. The books stay yours.
• Without your passwords. We never need your bank login. You invite us with accountant access and can remove us in one click.
• At a flat price. One monthly price, set after a free review. No hourly billing, and no contract.

What we believe about books

Being behind is normal, and nobody should feel judged for it. Most owners we meet are. The fix isn't a heroic weekend; it's a calm monthly routine that someone actually keeps.

Clean books aren't the goal on their own. The point is that you can answer simple questions, like "did we make money last month?" or "can we afford to hire?", without guessing.
